'Armed And Dangerous' Teen Wanted In South Jersey Man's Killing, Police Say

Police were searching for a teen believed to be "armed and dangerous" after a Bridgeton man was killed, authorities said.

Kevon Williams, 24, died in the shooting on Sunday, Nov. 24, the Bridgeton Police Department said in a news release. Officers responded to the scene on the 100 block of Cottage Avenue at approximately 11:18 a.m.

Police found Williams suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

James Snead Jr., 19, was identified as the primary shooting suspect. Murder and weapons charges have been filed against the Baltimore Avenue resident.

"No weapon has been recovered and the suspect should be considered armed and dangerous," Bridgeton police said.
